For Xmas, my friend Leanne had the brilliant idea of hosting a party at her place. It was a lot of fun and everyone had a good time. We had tacos, beer, and cake. Usually Christmas in Japan is a time for couples to have their romantic time together and not so much about being with families like in the states. So it was really good to get together with friends and celebrate the day.

(To the right is Mark and Leanne: We all owe our wonderful holiday dinner to her for hosting the party even though she was sick! Arigato. Anata wa Ichiban yo!)

Me and Jeric(another Nova teacher)hanging out. He was doing magic tricks with cards, and I had no idea what was going on. He spoofed me out!
Mai (Leanne's language exchange partner, my roommate Joe, and Jeric).
Leanne's friend's Oliver, and Miho.
My good friend from work Kieran and me sharing a moment
Mai and me making breakfast the next morning to cure our hangovers. Pancakes are sooooo good! Luckily I had the day off to relax a bit.
Charles wasn't at the xmas party, but came over the next day to hang out and watch movies.
