Ahhhh...my
quaint little hotel room made for a dwarf...j/k The room was very narrow, but
it was adequate for what I needed. I've seen rooms from other hotels, and they
all appear to be this size. Complementary tea, slippers, and toothbrushes were
available. Theer is a TV aroun the corner to the right which had about 9 channels.
The
tiny bathroom barely large enough to stand 2 people in. The bathtub is very
steep, and there is shampoo, body soap, and a body scrub provided. I took a
couple of showers, but it didn't help because right after you step outside,
you're covered with sweat from the humidity, or rain from the typhoon.
Probably the best part of my hotel room
was the cool toilet. Like many of you have heard before, a lot of toilets
in Japan spray you from down under after you're done to aid in the cleaning
process. It didn't feel so bad.
=)
A
close up of the Toilet washing controls. Maximum spray turned out to be too
powerful so adjust spray pressure accordingly!
This
is a television program I watched while being trapped in my room due to rain.
If any of you know domo-kun, (Calvin!), I think you'd like this. He was trying
to play baseball. They made him bat, field ground balls, and try to steal second
base. It was hilarious. This is him trying to dive for a grounder, but he can't
get up.
