I
think these are pictures from Daishoin Temple. I wasn't exactly sure where my
bearings were while I was visiting this Temple, but it was really beautiful
and a great place to visit!
The
paper attached to to a rope on the left of the picture are fortunes that people
hang up after reading them. I had done the same thing at another temple, but
my fortune was kind of negative so I won't mention it.
I'm
not really sure who these dudes are but they were cool to look at.
These
are statues of the Chinese Zodiac. The statue in the center is of the monkey
(my year or course, so I had to take a photo!)
It's
hard to tell here, but in the background are thousands or bronze buddha statues.
Again, my camera does not do this image justice.
All
of these stairs! I'm really out of shape, so mini hikes like this wear me down.
On the sides of the stairs you'll notice buddha statues which people leave money
on for good luck.
